What the app sends
The only things sent to our server are your license key, a hashed device ID and the app version.
Your databases, your copies and your database credentials stay on your Mac and are never sent to us.
What we store about you
For each license we store your email, a hash of your license key, hashed device IDs and the app version. We also store your plan and its status, the Polar IDs that link the license to your purchase, and when each Mac was activated and last seen.
When a Mac starts the free trial, we keep its hashed ID and the date, so that a Mac gets one trial. To limit abuse, we count recent requests per IP address.
Who handles it
Polar is the merchant of record, so your payment goes to Polar and we never see your card details. We use Resend to send email, Turso to store the records above and Vercel to run this site.
